Can I buy my rental dispenser out right?
Buying a dispenser may seem like a good idea, because no-one wants to rent one. Comments from customer who have rented for the last 5 years say that they would have paid for their dispenser by now! This is true to some degree, but here are some interesting facts that we found…
In 5 years, Palm Springs would have on average, exchanged the dispenser NINE times, due to faults, repairs, re-gasing, sanitization and upgrades. Dispensers are very temperamental, like light globes. They work fine… for a while until one day… pop, ping, bang.
The most common problems with water dispensers are;
Should your dispenser require repairs or servicing under warranty… you have to pay for freight to send your dispenser over to the eastern states (or wherever the warranty work needs to be done). The freight cost and the inconveniences of being without water (especially during summer) outweigh any idea of buying a dispenser outright.
Time and time again we have customers asking us to help them out, at least until their water dispenser returns. Some customers have been waiting months. Sadly to say, we have to charge a short-term rental fee.
